A collection of Arduino Sketches and electronics for a variety of projects.

The projects are primarily aimed at Technology clubs, and anyone looking for Hi-Tech STEM projects. I hope they are suitable for anyone with enthusiasm to 'have a go'. The aim is most projects require minimal prior experience. These projects are more than programming; they usually involve some simple electronics. This is about connecting to the physical world, mainly using Arduino or Freeduino micro-controllers.

Prerequisites:

  • can use a simple text editor
  • interested in programs, how humans tell computers exactly what to do
  • believe that a battery has a + and -, and a feeling that it matters
  • willing to be curious about the technology surrounding us

Most of the projects need no soldering, we use breadboard instead, like this:

Look at the Wiki Home to browse the projects.

Look at the Electronic Component Index to see the range of components used in the projects.

Here's a gratuitous picture of an Arduino riding around on a Lego NXT chassis without the NXT controller!

(Actually, the Arduino isn't able to ride around there because I removed the cables to make the picture clearer.)
