An open-source project to develop a robust archiving system with social networking features for hosting fanfiction and other fan works. This software will be used to support the Archive Of Our Own, and we hope also other fan archives.

We welcome contributors, and one of our goals is to mentor new programmers from our fannish communities whom we hope will help maintain and improve the archive in the future, and also go on to work on other fannish projects. OTW-Archive and The Archive Of Our Own are projects of the Organization for Transformative Works, a nonprofit organization.

As of February 2011, the project is hosted on GitHub. Issue tracking is still managed on Google code, but the latest source code is hosted in the otwarchive Github page.
