I booted Oricutron and typed in a program from scratch then CSAVE'd it, it 
took a time then said ready but i could not locate it anywhere in any of 
subdirectories of oricutron.
i then CLOAD'd another file (setting it up in menu) but it wasn't locked 
(Euphoric does this) and it just doesn't exist.

I was actually testing the EG period but it seems its accurate between 
real and emu.

Using oricutron 0.5 under windows build

No. Tape saving is simply not implemented at all.
