The Open Provenance Model Vocabulary (OPMV) defines basic classes and properties that can be used to describe the provenance of something, be it a document, a particular statistical observation, or a section in an item of legislation. Different things go through different processes, however, so it's expected that to support particular uses of OPMV, people will want to specialise the classes and properties that OPMV defines. For example, a section of legislation (a specialised type of artifact) might be created by another item of legislation (described as a specialised kind of process) by a parliament (a specialised type of agent). This project provides a space for common specialisations of OPMV and their documentation. Note that not all specialisations are expected to live here. News
