  issue 942 (opensocial.IdSpec.Field.NETWORK_DISTANCE) reported by digicide   -   My experiments have shown that iGoogle not only doesn't allow NETWORK_DISTANCE > 1, it ignores NETWORK_DISTANCE altogether. I would like to write a gadget in which a host invites friends who can then all interact together. In iGoogle's present implementation, this would require all invited friends to be friends with each other, which is difficult to enforce and cumbersome for the user. Please allow iGoogle to respect NETWORK_DISTANCE <= 2 so that as long as every invited user is a friend of the host, they can interact with each other.

  issue 939 (gadgets.flash.embedFlash not working in IE (6, 7 or 8)) commented on by gastonsalg   -   Hey again, since there is no update on this and the issue was affecting our production enviroment we've deployed a hotfix including a workaround for this, which doesn't use gadgets.flash module from opensocial to embed swf movies. because of this, if you follow the steps to reproduce the issue you'll see that the swf movie is being loaded in our app but this doesn't mean the bug is fixed. To reproduce this issue you should try to access an app which embeds swf movies using gadgets.flash methods. Thanks, Gastón
