Issue 10: Mouse doesn't work

Reported by WLigtenberg, Sep 23, 2008
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install the binary for linux
2. run it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a mouse to select to start the game.
However the mouse is invisible and doesn't work.
So I cannot select to start the game.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Maybe the SDL version you installed differs from the binary linked against, since
linux binaries don't ship with the dlls/sos it linked against.Though it's just a guess.

What is the version of your SDL ?
What is you OS ?
How did you install it ?
How version of the game do you use the .MIX files ?
Have you copy the 2 .mix files ? (redalert.mix AND MAIN.mix)

OK, I found the problem.
It is because I was using x2x to share my mouse and keyboard between two computers.
However it did respond to the keyboard, but not to the mouse. And also this is the
only program that has problems.
So there is a bug in there, but a minor one, since not that many people will use x2x.
