Auto Correct is very useful tool that will change the wrong spellings like "adn" to "and" as soon as you type. This is a marathi autocorrect utility that will change the wrong "ध्द" to the correct "द्ध". For e.g. if you type "कटिबध्द" in Open office writer, it will change to "कटिबद्ध"

Download the file acor_mr-IN.dat and save it in the following location.

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\autocorr

OR

C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\autocorr

The location for Linux OS is /Home/User Name/.openoffice.org/3/user/autocorr

If the folder is not visible, try ... Tools - Folder Options - View - Show hidden files and folders

Make sure that open office detect the language as "Marathi" on the status bar. Now you can use any IME for e.g. Baraha and type the word कटिबध्द if it changes to कटिबद्ध then you are good.
