Phase-Deploy
Updated Feb 4, 2010 by mchmarny

OpenNode2 is an open-source National Environmental Information Exchange Network (Exchange Network) Node that can be freely downloaded and deployed by any Exchange Network partner.

OpenNode2 is made available by the Environmental Council of States (ECOS) and was developed by Windsor Solutions, Inc. (Windsor).

OpenNode2 fully supports both the Exchange Network Node Specifications version 1.1 and the latest Exchange Network Node Specifications version 2.0, published in May of 2008. OpenNode2 is available for both .Net and Java platforms and includes a number of common data exchanges used by EPA and Exchange Network partners.

The State of NH has downloaded and installed the OpenNode2?, total installation time took 2 hours and 45 minutes by one person. At this point no data flows have been installed but NH is working on migrating/updating flows to run on the OpenNode2?.

Thus far the installation and testing of the Node have gone smoothly and may I say easier then expected. I highly recommend the OpenNode2? for everyone!

For the casual reader I would like to point out that the OpenNode2? comes with 6 plug-ins for dataflows and we can share any plug-ins we create in the future!
