What is OpenIntents about?

We design and implement open intents and interfaces to make Android mobile applications work more closely together. We provide samples and free applications to demonstrate their usage.

Reusable components

Your application can use the following components through intents:

• OI About: Displays a general about box for author informations.
• OI File Manager: Provides "Open" and "Save as" dialogs.
• OI Safe: Encrypt strings with a single master password. (How it works)
• OI Update: Set up version checking other than the Market's.

Tools for developers

• Androidxml2po: Use this script and Launchpad to get your app translated automatically in many languages by volunteers.
• Sensor simulator: Helps to simulate sensory input.
