I'm using: - win xp professional sp3 - opencv 2.0 - opencvdotnet 0.7 I installed opencv to the folder C:\Program Files\OpenCV (had to create it as I only had the folder "Programme" - German Windows) I always get the the same error message that OpenCV needs to be installed to the foler I created - so it seems it's not found ... did anyone have the same problem? and solved it? any help would be very fine thanks in advance

issue 23 (Installer fails to find OpenCV on 64-bit Windows) reported by JohannesH1980   -   Repro steps: 1. Install OpenCV in default folder(#1) in 64-bit Windows (Vista or 7) 2. Install OpenCVDotNet 3. Celebrate The expected result of these steps is that OpenCVDotNet installs successfully if I've already installed OpenCV, which I have, after which I celebrate and make some beautiful code. Unfortunately I never get past step 2. I suggest that if OpenCVDotNet can't automatically find the OpenCV binaries it should ask the user to provide a path through a folder chooser dialog box or similar UI. ---------- OpenCVDotNet version: 0.7 OS: Windows 7, 64-bit, english ---------- #1: The default folder is "%programfiles(x86)%\opencv\" in my current OS. Which translates to the path "c:\program files (x86)\opencv\". In a non- english OS the actual folder might also be different no matter if it's an x86 or x64 OS. In a danish x86 Windows XP, OpenCV would be installed in the path "%programfiles%\opencv\" which points to "c:\programmer\opencv\".

issue 18 (Human being tracking) reported by anguoyang   -   I am not experienced in OpenCV and related algorithms, so maybe my question is not so technical: I want to develop a demo program which could determine if there is person or not(that means, it could tell me if there is a human being or not in the current frame/picture, the existence of a human being in a picture), but when I try the sample program in mean-shift mode, the rectangle could track the human being precisely, and I don't know if it could determine "human being" from a single picture/frame or not, I am not familiar with mean-shift algorithm, so, could you please give me some advices? Another requirement for this demo is to determine the existence of balustrade --- a long rod in the picture, could you also give some advices for me? thanks in advance.

issue 1 (File Not Found Exception : Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007...) commented on by tim.stclair   -   This worked for me: (I have VS2008) ----------------------------------- I installed OpenCV first, then installed the OpenCVDotNet second. I then opened the Examples.csproj in VS2008 and converted it. I then removed all the references to OpenCVDotNet, OpenCVDotNet.Algorithms and OpenCVDotNet.UI I then added these projects from the OpenCVDotNet\src folder and fixed up the references to be project references rather than the DLL's (converting the projects to 2008 as I went). I've found that this is usually the best thing for a number of projects I work with where I get the FileNotFound exception. I checked the library paths in c++ and it had found the C:\Program Files\OpenCV\lib folder happily. I pressed "Run" and off it went. I've attached my VS2008 solution file and the other bits and bobs that it created.
