Many internal enterpises use their own CMS systems custom built with CFML.
The video era is upon us on the internet and CMS systems can no longer only
be document centric. The addition of cfvideo and cfvideoplayer will allow
the common cfml developer to be a superstar by making video convertion and
playback simple. It's also important to note that Railo has added a
cfvideoplayer and cfvideo tag to their engine ;)

We've just added a very feature complete CFVIDEOPLAYER to the latest cutting edge
branch. Expect to see it from the "4th Feb 2009" nightly build or from 1.0.2+
onwards.

The CFVIDEO component is merely a wrapper around the popular ffmpeg library that we
can easily wrap. Many people have already done CFC's for this, and there is no
reason why we can't bring this into the core engine, including the necessary native
libraries so people needn't worry about pre-installing anything.
