Lieutenenat level bug, quest-related ships don't appear in combat #681

Game version:

Operating System: Win XP sp3(e.g., Windows 7 x86, Windows XP 64-bit)

Java runtime version: 1.7.0_07(run java -version)

Installed using the Launcher? yes

Game language (en, hu, de): en

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When i start a new game, in saveral days there appears a quest to protect 
merchant ships. After the first battle, which goes normally you are given a 
quest to protect the carrier, but after that appears another space battle 
between pirates and a trader. When i attack the pirate i get standard battle, 
without dialogue and no trader ship can be seen. Same thing with the next quest 
to save a rogue pirate.

Can you upload some saves for this situation and and a save before the mission 
pops up?

I did a test on the first chapter. All space battles with pirates work as 
intended. Space ships, trader ships and dialogue were present.

i know this worked in earlier version and on different pc, it's strange that 
there is this bug now.

This save is an autosave on a day before mission appears

Thanks. I couldn't reproduce the issue with your second save, but see a problem 
with your first. Somehow, the second trader attack mission was not triggered. 
Resume your gameplay from save-2012-10-10-13-56-56-140.xml and let me know if 
it happens again. Maybe there is something you did which triggers the problem.

I think I found the cause. Should not appear again. Please resume from an 
earlier save.
