To reproduce, create a new topic map. Create a topic type "Person". Create a
symmetric association from Person to Person called "Knows", role type Person,
just one role, mark it as symmetric, set interface control to "Browse dialog".

Create two persons, A and B. Go to A, click the button to open the browse
dialog, check the box next to B. Press "OK" to close the dialog.

No association is created.
