What is OOPS?

A collection of Python and Javascript libraries for creating websites, web manuals and other web applications with "offline" features.

Why OOPS?

To address the needs of:

  • Continue access to reference material even if offline, in the same web-interface as when online
  • Low bandwidth requirements
  • Simple way to update once connected to get the latest material
  • No installation required
  • Can be distributed and carried in a USB key

How does it work?

A static HTML+CSS+Javascript site is created from a backoffice (usually a CMS); different libraries allow search, navigation, management of versions and updates, etc.
