Issue 24: tests in ocropus subfolders are inconsistent
  Back to list

Reported by christian.kofler, Jun 28, 2007
(test-* means all tests in ocropus subfolders)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. compile ocropus
2. run test-* in ocropus subfolders

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected:
- test-* takes no parameters by default
- test-* exits with non-zero value and reports if there are errors/failures
- test-* exits with 0 and gives no output on success
- test-* reports on stderr
- test-* should work (run without seg fault etc)

Observed:
- some test-* expect parameters
- test-* exits always with 0
- test-* reports information also if it succeeds on stdout
- some test-* do not work:
  ocropus-cmd/test-ocr-simple
  ocr-segment-line/test-list
  ocr-segment-line/test-seg-cuts
  ocr-tesseract/test-tesseract
