Obfuscated TCP for users

In order to use Obfuscated TCP for websites, you just need a compatible browser. For the moment, only Firefox has been patched (you need to get the patched version from that page). You can test to see if it's working by going to the test page

Is it reimplementation of SSL?

One of SSL's greatest strengths is also its flaws. It's designed around eliminating "man-in-the-middle" attacks. For that reason, it requires a complex, confusing, and expensive security certificate system.

I recently worked on a product that needed encryption to deter casual sniffing; the "man-in-the-middle" attack was not considered a risk. We spent a lot of time on SSL certificates; yet we really needed a solution that let us flip a switch to turn on simple encryption.
