What "Lego programming" means?

This means that you will be able to construct application for your needs as simple as constructing something using Lego blocks (without specific technical knowledge). More info about lego programming:

What is 'buttom-up MDD approach' ?

Buttom-up means that process of meta-modeling starts from low-level models (like code). During this process higher-level models (and their transformations) are developed in respect to already present lower-level models; this guarantees that model driven development will cover all real-life aspects and will be efficient.

This approach also refers to best-practices of Agile MDD.

Is bottom-up MDD approach tested for real projects?

Short answer is: Yes. A bit longer: underlying concepts and ideas where implemented and used for building more than 100 projects since 2004 in NewtonIdeas company. NReco is free and open-source implementation of this approach and includes only time-proven decisions.

How NReco can be used?

First of all NReco is an integration framework. It integrates popular libraries (like OGNL, Open NIC.NET, NHibernate etc) into solid MDD-framework. It can be used as:

• architectural basis that supports MDD/CBD for whole system, or just for some system layer, or even for small subsystem of big legacy system;
