also got this error when i tried to merge 2 duplicate contacts:

Apex trigger npe01.IndividualAccounts caused an unexpected exception,

and...when i reinstate the accountviewoverride button on the Individual
bucket account setup, it doesn't override and takes me to the Individual
account record.
