PureEdit is not getting any updates for more then a year now, this was already an issue when i first started using pureEdit so i started my own branch of the cms. I stopped using notsopureedit because i was only working on big projects (typo3/drupal) but now the small customers are back.

Upcomming features:

1. Manual row sorting
2. Content type Search
3. Filebased caching

Features i am thinking about:

1. Installation tool to ftp location.
2. Theme switcher
3. Module installer via backend
4. Google analytics page backend (for the client)
5. Translation module

The current features:

1. Auto Installation modules (execute mysql querys)
2. Page tree (like Frog CMS)
3. Smarty integration (done)
4. Modules per page column
5. Meta data for pages
6. Backend pagination
7. Backend column sorting
8. Backend row selection (number of total rows)
9. Overview file field images (cropped)
10. Added gmap.field.php
11. Added multi.field.php
12. Added checkbox.field.php
