Ninemacs (aka 9-macs) is an experiment to create a complete Windows C/C++ IDE using just GNU software (gcc, mingw, msys, Emacs, etc.).

This experiment is to see how small can be packaged all GNU software to get a normal IDE that can be used by anyone (also, the first time you'll run 9-macs you should get a little C++ program compiled in your machine).
