The comma (,) and period (.) are switched in 5-Row QWERTY keyboard
This problem has actually been fixed in the recent version, but to preserve possible customization, upgraded users will not see this change. You can swap the punctuations back by going to Settings -> iKeyEx -> Customize -> 5RowQWERTY -> Special characters, then tap Reset.
I can't find a keyboard
You can go to Settings -> iKeyEx -> Keyboards, then add (tap "+") the desired keyboard to make it usable.
If you can't find it in Keyboards, probably you need to "make" one yourself. Please follow these steps:
- Go to Settings -> iKeyEx -> Mix and match
- Tap "Make".
- In "Layout", select your desired keyboard layout.
- If you like, in "Input manager", select the language you need. (You can just use English (US) in most cases).
- In "Name", give it a name you want.
- Now go back to the iKeyEx page, then tap Keyboards. You should be able to see the newly made keyboard. Add that to enable it.
I can't install via RockApp/Icy
Installing via RockApp or Icy is not supported, since they are not fully apt compliant (in particular, they do not handle Depends: and Pre-Depends: correctly). Please reinstall using Cydia, apt-get or aptitude.
How is the progress of «project»? Is «project» dead?
I do have a full day job, which makes my time on iPhoneOS programming less. But trust me, they are not dead.

Cannot get IKeyex to work with IPhone 3G firmware 3.0.1 The little globe only appears if I chose both English and English (UK) keyboards (with IKeyex enabled in settings) and pressing the globe only switches between English and English (US). Any updates for anticipated for 3.0.1 firmware?
I think I may have installed a very early version of iKeyEx by mistake, and now I can't uninstall it. There is no "Troubleshooting" option under Settings/iKeyEx (only Keyboards and Mix&Match), it doesn't show up in Cydia/Manage, and there is nothing called "Keyboard Extensions" under Cydia/Sections.
Can I get rid of it using the terminal? Where is it installed?

Why doesn't Ikeyex work for me any more? Since the 3.0 FW upgrade, I was unable to get Ikeyex to work, I'm now using FW 3.0.1 on my iPhone 3G. I've tried every suggestion in the FAQ to of no avail. Please help.

Same here, it doesn't switch to any non-standard keyboard now on 3.1.2. I thought I saw an emergency upgrade and I downloaded it, but it said there was an errorwhen Itried to install it. I was logged in as root, via su - command, but still no dice.
Is there a way for me to select the characters that I want to appear on the 5th row? I was able to select the characters in the customize menu, but they do not show up on the keyboard, the keyboard always shows the default characters. Can some one please walk me through how to do this.

Where would you like me to send crashreport/log to? I've verified that purchased copy of ikeyex (with Dvorak keyboard) are crashing springboard and am not clear about where to post the report so that it might be useful
