How to enable/disable iKeyEx keyboards
This page is deprecated in 3.0

By default, newly installed iKeyEx keyboards are disabled. You can find the switches in Settings → General → Keyboard → International Keyboards.

If you have IntelliScreen installed, please also enable PrefHooker-iKeyEx and SBHooker-iKeyEx in the Performance options.

I still cant get these keyboards to show no matter what I do. I enabled prefhooker and sbhooker and still nothing.

Same here. Does having the Japanese keyboard (and emoji) enabled have anything to do with this?

I also have intelliscreen installed and do not see the 5-row even though I have done everything you have shown EXCEPT - where is "If you have IntelliScreen? installed, please also enable PrefHooker?-iKeyEx and SBHooker-iKeyEx in the Performance options. " where/what are the performance options? Thanks

Just jailbroke my G3 3.01 and added the Dvorak keyboard. It will not appear even when turned on. Is there a fix for this? Greg

Same here. Worked under 2.x.

I am on a 3GS, OS3.0.1 and installed Colemak. The Colemak choice shows up fine under the international keyboards, in a new category iKeyEx keyboards. I enable it, but the regular QWERTY keyboard prevails. I added another language to see whether the 'globe' button would include Colemak in its sequence, but it does not. I also tried to enable German as the only language choice, plus Colemak. No luck either.

doesn't work here either. I also set the permissions correctly with the iKeyEx program. I installed Dvorak but the globe doesn't show up.

my settings:

setting -> general -> keyboard -> international keybaords -> English / Dvorak / Dutch

settings -> ikeyex -> keybaords -> English / Dvorak / Dutch

I've just installed it and can't get the darned thing to work either!

Comment by themichaelscott, Oct 11, 2009

Same. I've installed a 5 row Qwerty keyboard and a dvorak, but neither seems to work. I don't know how to enable them

Same sad story Wish it was working in 3.xxx

Comment by cslosiu, Oct 19, 2009

I think it works for OS 2.x. For 3GS we have to wait more while... :(

For Dvorak, you have to make a Mix and Match because it's just a layout, not a full input manager.

(Actually, I made up that reason, but it works in my head….)
