1 The Mini 9's card reader can not be booted from via the bios, however you can use a helper partition to boot an installed OS from the SD card. 2 The Lenovo S10 reports itself as "Lenovo" and as such it currently cannot be distinguished from other Lenovo devices.

I notice the Hibernation column is blank. Does that mean it does not currently work ?
As far as I know, hibernation doesn't work on the mini 9, however you can enable it on the mini 10v (and others) with a patched chameleon build. I'll try to incorporate the patch in NebookInstaller?, however it isn't too high on my priority list.
what is your experience with the mini 110? i see that its listed, but what do the empty boxes mean?
I've trying this on a MSI Wind (286my). 2GB Ram/Gigabyte AirCruiser?(native Airport). I've been using this on SL 10a432. Works! Install is smooth. However my install hangs at the Migration Assistant. Could this be a wireless config issue? Should I be connected by ethernet at startup?
Best wishes!!
Since the HP Mini 110 is listed but not filled in yet, does it mean it's a work in progress? That would totally make my day as I just got a 110. :)
I am also curious if you guys are going to include HP Mini 110 functionality into your Netbook-Installer app. I love where you guys are going with it, and I'd love to use it on my HP 110 too!
Hi the samsung nc10 didnt work properly until i installed legacy graphics drivers
@balliettb The best way to get support added in is to try it out and let me know what works and doesn't. I'll try to add any kexts to make it work better for your machine.
@farahsalessa, Could you explain a bit more what you mean (what didnt work, what did you add, etc)
When will we see MSI Wind in the 10.6 table here? ;) Just let us know if you hardware ids, kexts or anthing else for our models.
Hi all, I would like to note that the Acer Aspire One D150 also works perfectly with this netbookinstaller, only had to add the voodooHDA and Attalansic kexts to get audio and wired networking working. the rest worked flawlessly.
only experiencing kernel panics in TimeMachine? at the moment, currently investigating.
seems to not like it when backup file becomes larger than 4GB...
so basically it works like a charm ;)
Well the issue kernel panics is solved by adding VoodooBattery?.kext to my Extra kexts. so in general the AA1 D150 with Atom 280 is fully working, stable, and all hardware works as expected, except sleep, but has always been the trouble with this netbook.
I would say this to be supported with extra kexts, installs easily.
i would like to edit my initial post with more specifics as i deleted the partition and started over noting the steps i took.
first of all i have a US NC10 with bios updated to version 9.
i installed using the netbook maker and after it finished the install and rebooted, i got a grey screen but the sounds was working and i could hear the mac os assistant.
i then booted into my leopard partition and open netbook installer and checked the following boxes: chameleon, extensions, dsdt, disable hibernation, fix blootooth i restarted.
the graphics then worked, but i lost audio. so i installed applehdakext from the other snow thread on the forum using kext utility and sound now works.
i dont understand why i had a different experience from everyone else. i think maybe its the diff bios version.
AOD 150 results in good installation, but then reboot as the video starts to play. Touching the system registration file allows the system to load the desktop background, but then the immediate reboot occurs. Trying a retail/vanilla install now.
Installed on my lenovo S10-2, easy install, fixed the audio with VoodooHDA, and removed IOATAFamily.kext. I have not tested ethernet, but I guess it won't work, same for sleep. I'm not sure about the microphone, and I can't get the camera to work. Thanks Meklort.
AOD150 10.6 installed and fully operational, with extra kexts, rare KP with reference to PowerManagement?, ( during high IO) updated to 10.6.1 added VoodooBattery?.kext, Atlansic.kext and a airport extreme wireless card.
video = ok sound = ok wireless = ok ( with replaced mini pci-e card) bluetooth ( hardware not built in) external USB BT adapter works well network = OK with atlansic.kext WWAN : n/a card reader = OK
Tried install on Acer A0751H, hangs on spinning wheel with 10.6. Kernel panics when trying -f or -x boot options.
It says Dell Mini 10v, but does this also include the Mini 10 (since it has a different integrated graphics adapter)?
Nope, 10v only. You might be able to install on the mini 10, but there would be no video acceleration.
does the 10v install work with the g/n wifi card (1510) or just the g one (1397)?
Asus eeePC 1008ha runs very well with this on 10.6, have been using it for a month or so. Everything works except Ethernet and WLAN (not supported), and sound with the addition of the VoodooHDA kext.
I have a 10v with the 802.11n wifi. It works. Hackintosh Dell Mini 10v
I've got the Acer AOD150 and the install seemed to go smoothly. However every time I boot, just as the desktop is about to appear, i.e. it goes from booting to the point where a cursor can be seen, then it shuts down and reboots.
Anyone else having this problem?
I should add that this is using Snow Leopard
I have an acer AOD150 doing the same exact thing. I thought it was about to work, the cursor come up for a second and as the desktop is about to load, it reboots its self. Any solution?
I've been trying with the Mini 110 and have had mixed results. Unfortunately none of them have been all that successful. When I try to install 10.5.6 I get a kernel panic with the AppleIntelPowerManagement?.kext, I've tried removing the kext from the install media but I still get the kernel panic so 10.5 is a no go.
10.6 installs perfectly and seems to run great aside from there being no driver support for anything I need. Namely sound and more importantly networking of any kind.
Anyone able to help me out? I'd love to help get it working on the 110.
I should probably also add that I tried 10.5.6 with NetbookInstaller? 0.8.2, 0.8.3 RC1 and 0.8.3 RC3.
I try to install Snow Leopard on Samsung NC10, bluetooth work, WLAN don't work with original Wifi card. Ethernet controller work but the mac address is 00:11:22:33:44:55.
hello i am trying to install snow leopard on acer AOD 150 and i am getting a panic when MAc os x tries to install. it says that CPU Type is not supported, did any one encountered this when trying to install snow leopard? thanks
I think you can/should add the Lenovo S10e to the chart with the same specs as the S10, but Netbook Installer does not recognize it as supported hardware. (I initially ran the generic install, ignoring the warning, but sound and sleep didn't work, so I forced the Lenovo S10 install by messing with machines.plist.)
I'm having the same problem as ash.vashist, my the install image loads and I can run all the utilities, but during the install the system panics, apparently after copying all the packages to the target disk.

Hello every one,
I want to know if osx will work on Samsung Go(N310). if any one knows let me know because they are goin for cheap now a days. thanks
My Samsung NC10 with Snow Leopard works better than the table suggests:
Audio - the built in speakers, headphones and the built in microphone work but I have no external mic to test; Touchpad - works fine, with two finger scrolling; Bluetooth - my unit has HSPA modem instead; Card Reader - works fine; Ethernet - works fine; WLAN - works fine, but I've replaced the original card with an airport extreme card; WWAN - works fine; Sleep & Hibernation - works fine, when using a dsdt.aml which disables wake-on-usb
THis site offers a working dsdtl.aml and the VodooPower?.kext, which offers better power magement: http://the.taoofmac.com/space/com/Samsung/NC10
To answer people's questions about the HP 110 Mini:
1. I could install 10.6 without issues, but WiFi? does NOT work. I also could not find a USB WiFi? stick that would work (The Netgear WG111 V3 wouldn't work either).
2. Barring the WiFi? issue, there's also a bunch of hacks to get 10.6 installed (http://mymacbookmini.blogspot.com/2009/10/hackintosh-must-have-mac-os-x-installer.html will get 10.6 up and running for you).
3. I couldn't get a working/bootable 10.5 USB drive using netbook-installer. Not sure what the issues here are. All I know is that the USB drive would boot up to the gray apple screen and then freeze.
I'm taking my HP 110 back and buying a Dell Mini 10v.
Hope that helps!

please post your results for the latitude 2100. I'm looking to do the install using SL. Thanks.
Hi, i could really use a bit of help. Mac guy for 20 years, have hardly ever touched windows. Trying to install on a Acer d150. Cannot get the machine to respond at all to a USB-based install. It sees the drive, but when I move FDD to the top priority in Bios and try to boot, it hangs for two or three minutes, then eventually boots in windows. Have reformated/reinstalled the USB drive repeatedly, and have tried several different versions of the install file. Bootmaker says it alters the drive correctly, but no matter what I do, it never, ever boots. Suggestions?
I haven't tried with a DVD yet...am I likely to have more success that way? And if anybody could sort of itemize the initial setup, that would be great. I completely know what to do once the Mac install process begins, but getting to that point just isn't working. Most step-by-steps I've read seem to assume a fair amount of PC awareness and so are kind of written in shorthand for those steps, and then get very detailed for the Mac install portion. I need just the opposite. If anybody can help, I would truly appreciate it.
Dell Mini 10v running Snow Leopard here. Ran Netbook Boot Maker 0.8.3 RC3 and all works except for audio... NetbookInstaller? 0.8.3 RC3 does not install WLAN or display properly. JFYI
MSI Wind u100 / advent 4211 here.. had to install drivers for audio, wireless and ethernet. all easy to find. video working great.
Acer Aspire One D150. Had various problems with reboots, kernel panics etc. Installed BIOS 1.08 (glad I didn't wipe that Windows disk!) and I can get a clean and stable install. If anyone can point me at any additional KEXTs I should be using I'd appreciate it (I'm new to all this!).
I have a Mini 9 n series (910?) with bios A05 (latest) and snow leopard. And I can confirm that other then the fact that the headphone jack doesn't work everything works wonderfully. Occasionally I have to try to boot it a few times to get it to go but sleep works and the wifi is nice and powerful (probably not a netbook-installer thing ;-) )
Why do the headphones work in 10.5 but not 10.6? Is there something I can do for it?
will this install work on the Acer Aspire One 250 (AOD250-1165)
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=sc_iw_r_2_1_1/?asin=B0023B138W
I am just trying now to install on the Acer Aspire One 250 (AOD250-1165) and the SL install crashes randomly, but always before the progress bar reaches the "g" in "Installing", with the time remaining @ 29 minutes. The netbook as the latest BIOS v1.22 installed, I am not sure what the issue is.
Is there any working HOW-TO guide on how to install Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on an HP Mini 110-1030nr. I have 10.5.8 working splendidly but really want SL to work. elcapatino@gmail.com
An update on SL install to the Aspire One AOD-250. I downgraded the BIOS to version 1.03 and the install completed, but it gets into an endless reboot cycle. I tried using "-x", but it also fails ... I will keep at it.
Any one successful with the Gateway LT2005u?
Thank you for the wonderful site and excellent tools and user-guides. Top-notch! This site made my netbookintosh dreams a possibility.
Last night, I used the windows guide to install SL onto an Acer Aspire D150 sucessfully. My BIOS was version 1.05, which caused the system to repeatedly restart right before showing the intro video. Since I had wiped XP and replaced it with SL, I had to use a thumbdrive to update the BIOS to 1.11 using FreeDos? and unenbootin downloaded from another windows machine. The system got up and working, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked (video settins, speed, etc), with the exception of a kernel panic every 5 minutes or so. Installing 3 kexts (voodoobattery, voodooHDA , and Attalansic) seemed to help with the KPs.
Afterwardss, I tried to use migration assistant to move Microsoft Office and my user account settings from a Time Machine backup of my old mac onto the Aspire, and I think that was a bad choice. My applications inexplicably disappeared from the dock and HD afterwards. I was also trying to instal RC4 to update to 10.6.2, but every time I ran the program, my machine KP'd.
So I wiped my HD and tried to install again, this time reverting my BIOS back to 1.05 to start afresh. But I'm stuck now. I can install 10.6.0 just fine, but I need to update the BIOS to 1.11 so my machine does not restart continually, but my machine no longer will boot off of FreeDos? or any other system I put on a thumbdrive, except the Mac OSX installer. When I tell it to boot of the thumbdrive with FreeDos??, it says "boot0:error" and then quickly tries to start OSX.
I am not sure If there are MBR files that my system lacks to read the USB drive now that I wiped my HD and made it GUID with one partition. If anyone had any pointers, I would greatly appreciate them. I will let you know what I figure out in case anyone else is in a similar bind.
No luck so far with my lt2005u. After trying a few other options, I grabbed netbook-installer and still no progress. Others http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muKBwIUf5iE have had mixed results.
The problem was with my thumbdrives-- only one of them would boot my machine. I got SL working on the AOD 150, but now it randomly KP's every few minutes. I installed VoodooHDA, VoodooBattery?, and Attansic. It seems to be stable under Safe Mode. The card reader does work fine with SL, but I have not been able to get the internal microphone working.
I've been trying to install on a Compaq/HP Mini 110c-1110ez with no luck. I am using leopard, and I've tried both NBI 0.8.2 and 0.8.3 RC4 with the same results. In both cases I get to the grey screen with the apple, but never see a spinning wheel. Booting with mach_kernel -f -v gives me the same final error in all cases:
Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin?
Any ideas of how to get past this?
ok you guys with the acer aspire one D250, ive been messing around with osx for the past 2 days and i have successfully install snow leopard with the netbook maker method. so to you guys that have those shitty reboots that make you want to throw that acer on the wall, what i did and worked was , i downgraded the bios to 1.03(the i got the reboots), and then i updated to 1.06 and hoho merry xmas for me. you have to do all this through dos though.., and the installers from acer are for windows only, soooo download winrar, and extract those files:D , then put them on your usb with the Freedos method, and hopefully have something that works. I am now in the process installing drivers, if anything else comes up, ill say it here. hope it works for you guys too. take care and happy xmas.
Hello All,
I have a D250-1Bb, and a new DW 1510 wifi mini card, but for the life of me the card wont reconginise in mac, picks up from lspci as 14e4:4322 Broadcom, but never switches on...
I need a few hints and tips, i have the Dell mini wifi card on the internal pci, have tried the pin 20 methord but this never worked, i had win 7 aswell with the correct drivers from dell using the manual install methord, but cannot get the card to "boot" as in no power.
If i play with the switch on a fresh boot, sometimes the wifi card gets picked up and can be used as should be, but generally not.
Is any one else experiancing problems like this???
Havent tried in Xp yet, but will be shortly after this right up!!, I have had successfull iDeneb 1.4 installs, but no airport reported. I will be trying iDeneb 1.6 after xp as i found a guide that used a D250 and the DW1510, and apparently worked out of the box!!.
Any help or comments please email me @ richardjones779@msn.com
why use ideneb, just go to snow leopard straight away, its really stable, i love it. did you remove the atheros wifi and replaced it with the dw1510? in snow leopard i remember i did not have any location settings , basicly no settings at all and when i installed the wifi card, it created everything by it self, did not have to do anything at all...
True @ grazykid.... Y use ideneb!!. lol, i gave up on it.
Yes i replaced the atheros with the mini dw 1510. Not sure if its just a dud card tho, as it won't work in Xp, win 7, ubuntu 9.10, or ideneb, 10.5.5 or 10.5.8
Thanks for the reply anyway grazykid
EDIT
But the card will show up in all the operating systems, just won't use it!!, think its due to the WIFI switch on the front of the laptop.
