Installation of Nemerle Studio and Nemerle compiler:

1. Download and install Visual Studio Shell 2008 Isolated. If you have Visual Studio 2008 Professional installed you can skip this step. (note: Visual Studio 2008 C# Express is not supported).
2. Download and install the latest setup file.

If you have previous versions of Nemerle installed, your should uninstall them first. It is always recommended to uninstall old versions of Nemerle before installing new one to avoid trouble issues.

Currently Nemerle IDE supports only .net 3.5. Though there is .net 4.0 version in download section, but code compiling is available only in manual mode.
