Hoogle did not find any of the primitive types that I tried. Perhaps it was
designed this way, but I think it would be nice to support primitives.

Probably an issue with Haddock not indexing them, perhaps they are in the GHC
package?

No, in the base package, GHC.Prim, and indexed by Haddock. Most likely only appear
with #define GHC, so needs doing when building with Haddock.

GHC.Prim is not a real module, is faked up from GHC source code, and not in the base
darcs. The code is all around, but not in base - needs to wget from GHC then
preprocess.

Things like C# etc. are in the database though.

These primitives have been relocated to the ghc-prim package, which can be found at http://darcs.haskell.org/packages/ghc-prim/

They should be able to be handled in the same way as base.
