Download Native Client

Native Client is a research technology, and we do not consider it secure. We encourage you to experiment with the technology, but do so at your own risk. Please uninstall the plug-in when you're not using it for development or testing. Whenever you reinstall the plug-in, be sure to use the latest version.

Here are the current "tarball" downloads:

See the Getting Started guide for instructions on extracting and installing the Native Client files.

For information about the current release, see ReleaseNotes. If you want the latest source code, go to the Source tab.

Note: These tarballs are automatically generated and tested, but that doesn't guarantee they'll work. If the latest tarball appears to be broken, please let people know by posting to Native Client Discuss and filing a bug.

Dear Sirs,

Please establish seperate mirrors for downloads. It takes forever to download the source.

Also,it would have been nice if you would have given us the checksum/md5 signatures to verify that we have downloaded the correct binaries.

best regards

Best regards

I've forwarded your request for mirrors to the codesite managers. As for checksums, we've changed the links to point to pages with checksum info, instead of directly to the download files. Hope that helps...

I have tried to download the Windows distribution a number of times over the last day or two from a variety of browsers and it has timed out on each occasion. Am I the only one?

The link appears to be fine - I am downloading now. I will drop a note to the code.google.com administrators in chase there is some chance of improving their network connection quality. We are also working on making our downloads smaller.
