Individual Name: - dominicblais (dominic@snisit.com) SDK Version: - 0.1 April 23 2009 Runtime Version: - 0.1 (10916299) Operating System/Browser - Mac OS X 10.5.6, Intel 32-bit / Firefox 3.0.9 Description: A segfault in the nativeclient code causes a crash/freeze in Firefox. While mostly an inconvenience at this point, this will provide a significant barrier to adoption of nativeclient as a plugin. Steps to Reproduce: 1. (Optional) Compile test6.c, which deliberately dereferences a NULL pointer. 2. Open test6.html |

I tried this; the browser hung until I manually killed sel_ldr. If you see something different please let me know.

This is a low priority defect and requires revisions to the IMC or SRPC mechanisms to support timeouts. We are in the midst of some major reworking of our IPC infrastructure and that should be the ultimate resolution to this issue. |
