• Fix for any language that uses more than one keystroke for characters or words in text entry boxes.
• Fixed for crash upon startup for certain calls that have not been looked up in google maps
• Fixed the idle timer to not turn off the iPhone/iPod during the data conversion process
• Fixed the conversion process to completely restart if the user sends MyTime to the background or quits MyTime during the conversion process. This bug allowed users to quit the app during the conversion process which could cause data loss.

• Fix for restoring backups using the MyTime webserver.
• Updated the publications from the list of published publications.
• Finally fixed the bug that was causing crashes in views that were sorted by name, street, state, house number, or apartment number beginning with a non-english character caused crashes in many situations.
• City sorted views now have the index back to using the whole city name in the index.
• All of the indexes that are based on a single letter are now localized, I would appreciate input as to how well this is done.

• Fixed a bug in the Mapped Calls pin color: the color would only update if you restart MyTime or if you edited a call directly from the Mapped Calls view
• When adding a new Call, the location services is turned on very early so that when you go to automatically lookup the address it will resolve the address much quicker.

Approved 7/28/2010. Submitted 7/21/2010. This was a release to fix bugs found in MyTime. I have been very busy with baby stuff lately and have not had the time to spend on mytime :(

• added support to make sure the iPhone does not sleep or disable the WiFi when you are using the MyTime webserver
• added pin colors to the map based on the number of days since the last visit. (Green < 7days, Purple < 14 days, Red > 14 days)
• fixed issues regarding passcode and multitasking
• fixed various publication bugs (yearbook displaying wrong, tracts not showing up correctly)

Approved by Apple on 6/20/2010. Submitted 6/13/2010. This was an emergency submission to preempt any bugs that would be there in the iOS 4.0 release (because it messed some things up). Added Convention Invitation as a campaign tract Now using google maps for the Mapped calls Mapped Calls now shows you your position fixed the "Sorted By ..." view display when sorting by Date types of "Additional Information" Added support for iOS 4.0 multitasking Added support for opening the records.mytimedata files from your email. (this helps for very large backup files)

Features in the submitted 2.8.0 release

Submitted to Apple on 5/14/2010. Approved by Apple on 5/19/2010. Features already in this release:

• Added Study version of the Watchtower.
• Added a way to turn off the Backup Email attachment to allow yahoo email servers to process mytime backups without corrupting them.
• Found a workaround for the yahoo email server bug where it was corrupting email backups.
• Separated "Not at homes" from "not at home" return visit type... some languages differentiate this text and it was confusing.
• Completely reworked the "Statistics" view so that you can edit any of your statistics or enter in all of your information for the service year if you are new to MyTime.
• Added "cutesy" animations to the number picker and Hours picker to match Apple's animations for the countdown timer.
• Added "Study Individuals" to the Service Year totals, you can also press on this and see all of the study names that you studied with
• Added feature to per-month bible study count where you can see the names of the people you studied with.
• reverse geocaching so mytime will fill out the address you are at based on the GPS location or wifi if avaliable.

• Not at homes (you cant email anything right now, it is coming)
• Nice informative text in the views when you do not have any entries (like hours, calls, street witnessing placements, etc) in the views that you can click on a "+" button (just create a new user and take a look around at the sorted by, hours, bulk placements views).
• Added additional Bible/publication DVDs
• Fixed the DVD placement rules as per the 11/7/2009 letter
• Fixed sorting issues in the street sorted view when letters are in the house number.
• You can now select year in the "Change Date" field for a Return Visit

Features/Bug Fixes in the 2.6.1 release

Released on 12/29/2009. Submitted to Apple 12/28/2009. There was a large bug in 2.6.0 regarding heavy usage of MyTime that I could not wait to fix. Features already in the development version:

• Yearbook added (I dont know why this was not already there in the first place).
• Watchtower/Awake set of publications added to the publication picker view
• All "Add" actions now make the views appear from the bottom of the screen just like all other apple branded applications
• Fixed localization of the publications in the "Bulk Placements" view
• Fixed a bug in the Auto-backup feature: if you disable the backup feature it still asks you to backup, you can workaround it right now by specifying a really long time between backups.

• Fixed a big memory leak bug in mytime, I had left a debug flag on that would cause high memory usage in MyTime and crashes for heavy usage of MyTime

Features/Bug Fixes in the 2.6.0 release

Released on 12/28/2009. Re-Submitted to Apple on 12/19/2009 (originally submitted to them on 12/19/2009) This will be called the "Please backup" release. I have focused on making sure that your data is secure and you have ways of restoring your data no matter what happens to your iphone/ipod.

• added Multiple Choice type in the Additional Information
• added autobackup feature and a reminder for the user to backup their data
• email backups now have the backup data file in them for users who have terrible ISPs like comcast that corrupt emails. (You can use the mytime webserver in MyTime->More->Settings->Start MyTime Webserver to load the data file)
• emails now use the "in-app" email views so that you dont have to switch between mytime and the email program.
• fixed lots of bugs
• Norwegian translation added
• fixed the switch in the "Add Additional Information", it did not display correctly for non english translations

• backup emails now include a file attachment of the backup so that naughty ISPs like Comcast cant corrupt all of the backup email.

• Fixed a bug in the "Sorted by..." view when sorting by "Additional Information" types when you have more than one per call.

Now available as of 11/10/2009. Submitted to apple on 10/30/2009, Apple rejected the last update and have taken too long for me to wait on this release... So I just submitted 2.5.0

• fixed a bug that would cause deleted calls to be removed from the statistics during the month of September.
• added email printable backup
• added settings page view for secretary email address and notes.
• Added a "Quick Notes" view to allow you to create favorite notes for return visits (you can add presentations as quick notes).
• Changed the Settings page over to use the Generic table controller so that adding new features to it will be quicker
• Changed the way the Tab Bar switches between tabs, it should be faster now.
• Fixed the Hours picker view and the Bulk Placement picker view, there was a graphics problem that made the selection window not line up with the text in the picker

Gave up and submitted 2.5.0, apple rejected this update because of another bug I fixed in 2.5.0 already, this was resubmitted 2.4.8 on 10/15/2009 because of a question that required phone support from apple while I was out of the country. Originally submitted to apple on 9/11/2009

Submited to apple on 8/14/2009, but gave up on apple... I resubmitted including another serious bug fix (I wanted to get this out quick cause people are having problems with corrupted map caches causing crashes in MyTime)

• New MyTime webserver builtin to MyTime, this allows you to download/upload your backup of mytime and add hours and calls from the comfort of a real keyboard.
• Added a Settings Application section for MyTime so that you can clear Map Caches if it is causing your application to crash and a way to email out your backup before MyTime really gets started if there is any other reason for a crash.
• Fixed a bug in transferring a call that would count magazines

• "Sort By ..." view that allows you to sort by any of your "Additional Information". So you can do Sort by Territory, Suburb, Day that you call on people... the sky is the limit

• Added a "always shown" section to the "Additional Information" so that you can always have certain commonly used "Additional Information" always appear in existing and new calls. For example if you keep up with the person who was with you at the door, you could have a field for that. Maybe you are a CO or DO and are in different congregations, you could have an "always shown" "Additional Information" that was titled "Congregation" (This would allow you to sort by "Congregation" so you can more readily view calls when you are in that congregation)
• Added a YES/NO switch and URL as another type for the "Additional Information" you can create.
• Fixed various crashes
• Completely rewrote the Call Detail view, it now animates more and is generally quicker (most of the changes are to make things more manageable for me to add features later).

• Fixed a crash if you add a "Date/Time" Additional Information entry
• Fixed a bug saving your field service hours for the first time after creating a new user (you can work around this right now by exiting after changing the user before you start/stop your time... you only have to do this once)
• Fixed a bug in the Bulk Placements where the data from one user would look like it was on the other user (you can work around this by exiting the application every time you change a user).

• Search in the sorted calls views (this will search everything within a call). I have this mostly working, but have to massage out some bugs

• Fixed a bug in the address sorting, the address numbers were not sorted correctly.
• Fixed a bug where you could not edit your return visit's name unless you scrolled the name off of the screen.
• I got UK English dates localized, if there is any other English speaking country that does not use the US way of doing dates or addresses let me know.
