I've recently install Banshee-1 (alpha 2) and the plug in does not recognize the player because the new upgrade is installed to a new location.

It's not that the new upgrade is installed to a new location, it's more of Banshee's DBus interface changing.

musictracker development and support has moved to pidgin-musictracker, where it has received many bug fixes and enhancements.

Please update to the latest version from http://code.google.com/p/pidgin-musictracker
