this is the most confuesing emulator yet... hey is there any chance that you can start releasing your lattest version with more documentation on how to set this up? its been a hassle and i cannot upgrade to the plus version due to all the lack of explanation... how do we get a gui or even use this thing? would it be to much to ask for a youtube video tutorial? please... this emulator is complicated... and will not run for me.

The front-end which I maintain is called "mupen64plus-ui-console", and it is command-line only. There are other front-ends available which have a GUI. There are links here: http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins

Currently wxMupen64Plus is the most advanced GUI front-end.
