Welcome to the muParserx project page at Google Code. muParserX is a mathematical expression parser written in C++. It was originally based on the muParser engine but was extended in order to support multiple data types such as strings, complex numbers and matrices. muParserX is a very powerfull math parser, in terms of features probably the most powerfull math parser available. It is however not the fastest parser and it is not a scripting language. It can do significantly more than muParser but it can't do as much as Octave. Using it in your code is pretty straightforward.
