IP:Port proxy emulating Php script with Turing test and POST spam check

This is a Php based script that run inside a web server such as Apache and emulates an IP:Port proxy.

For most cases it works like a proper proxy such as Squid or Apache. The only issue is with HTTPS. To accommodate HTTPS, this proxy has to do a URL rewrite. While this works with most sites, it breaks for more sophisticated sites such as Hotmail, Gmail etc.

This proxy can be used for affiliate advertising and has an in built Turing Test supplied by recaptcha.com to keep SEO bots away. It also checks POST requests for spammy links and rejects them.

It's open source and completely free to use as you wish. It's ideal to set up as a personal proxy to access sites such as Facebook, and Youtube.

There is still a lot of improvements that can be made in terms of file uploading and cookie manipulation, which may resolve some issues with particular sites. But the aim is to keep it as generic as possible and not customize based on individual sites.
