What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have an ISA Server and can't connect because of bug
http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/2910
2. Install NTLM Authorization Proxy Server to workaround
3. Set proxy to point to NTLM Authorization Proxy Server
4. Connect and immediately crash

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: connection
What I see: "The message cannot be read." (Attachment)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pidgin 2.5.5 + msn-pecan 0.0.18 under Win XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
The same configuration works with XMPP (GTalk) and Facebook plugin.

Please look at ReportingIssues.

Can you give instructions to setup an ISA server so that I can reproduce?

It turns out proxy authorization was not working before, there's a patch for that in
the master branch.

It should work on 0.0.20.
