The company was founded in 1997. Headquartered in Cologne, Germany ProSyst operates additional offices in Sofia, Bulgaria and Seoul, Korea. ProSyst is a privately held company and employs 120+ Java/OSGi engineers.

ProSyst is entirely focussed on open standards technology and was most actively involved in helping to create the OSGi specification. ProSyst offers products and services for all vertical markets that use OSGi technology, such as Mobile Devices, Smart Home, Automotive, Enterprise and Industrial Applications.
