I have released the source so far in hopes that someone might rain insight upon me on the following issues. Below are some warnings and instructions for installation. This software is alpha and may cause MobileCal to stop working. Keep reading for details. If you want to help out send an email to my gmail account, user name is thespicychicken.

Please NOTE! This software is guaranteed to be unstable and may cause your MobileCal to stop functioning (I know from experience). If that does happen replace /var/root/Library/Calendar/Calendar.sqlitedb with the CalendarEmpty.sqlitedb file provided in the GCalendarApp folder, and you should be fine.

Issues

1. The python script doesn't insert the correct rows for the OccurrenceCache table in the sqlite database for recurring events -- this causes the crash.
2. The GCalendar app will only work reliably when launched from the Terminal or Tapp So don't load from Launcher or the SpringBoard - as it will crash.
3. The python script needs to be replaced, eventually.
4. Intermittent connection failures.

Installation Requirements for your iPhone

1. SSH File Transfer Capabilities Good Tutorial
2. MobileTerminal (easiest to install via Installer.app)
3. Python (again Installer.app)
4. Tapp (and again Installer.app)

Installation Instructions

1. Download mobilegcal-x.x.x.zip
2. Extract the archive
3. Edit calendarurls.txt to list the URLs of your ICAL Google Calendars (one per line)
4. Rename GCalendarApp to GCalendar.app
5. Transfer the GCalendar.app folder to your /Applications folder on your iPhone
6. Insert the tapp command "/Applications/GCalendar.app/GCalendar" into your Tapp
7. Now Tapp away to google-synced calendars
