there is a status bar, time played and total time at the top of the video podcasts, but his status bar is missing from the audio podcasts. Thanks much for fixing  issue #7 

wait person above me how do you get the status bar for audio?

question..where are these files being saved? i would like it to sync up with the current podcasts as now im getting duplicate shows when i finally do dock my iphone.

To answer your questions:

• owenmhv & atsushioka13 the positional jog/status bar is back in 2.2.3 please upgrade to it :)
• jamiegump: downloaded items are saved into /var/root/Media/MobileCast, but we don't sync with the ipod podcast feature.

There are some podcasts that are in M4A format rather than MP3 format. For example HBR Ideacast. Mobilecast downloads them but can't play them. If this is not difficult then please fix it.

dahiya.p: can you create an issue for this & provide a link to an rss feed for an m4a podcast so that we can test against it.

PS - you might also want to try this with the 224 development version (available on the downloads page) before you log the issue.

I have same issue - downloads m4a but shows they are zero length and won't play: e.g. http://www-micro.msb.le.ac.uk/podcasts/mb/mb.xml

fyi - m4a appears to be working correctly in the latest 2.2.4 version of mobilecast.
