Hi Folks, Were looking for a new/better Icon for mobile cast. If your handy with graphics then this is your golden opportunity to give back to the mobile cast community. Please reply to this thread attaching your icons. We'll post the icons on the front page on the google code site & will probably run a poll to select the new default icon for MC. nice one Tom. I wasn't aware of podcastlogo.com - I must admit I really like their 2/3/full color logos. I wonder if anyone would be interested in modifying one of those so that each the earmuff part of the headphones are derived from the iphones wifi symbol? |

Here is my contibution. This should be polished by someone with real graphics skills, but the idea is there. Mobile - Wifi - RSS rolling along .... Could be put on a background, but I do not have the tools to do that. Maybe someone with Gimp could run with this idea ? |

Forgot to mention: my second icon is based in the idea that MobileCast is a receiver for RSS based info (I'm being very liberal in my interpretation of RSS here). It was supposed to look like a satellite dish while being based on the official RSS logo (but in reverse 'direction'). Gert |

sanders.gert: I really like that last Icon, though I think it could be made better if a bit of gloss was added to both the M and the Wifi symbol. The M feels a bit plain the way it is. |
