The way I've implemented it (I'll check this in for you to see) is to just open the image using LaunchFileEmbeddedL() that uses CDocumentHandler. This opens an embedded image viewer, it's very easy. But replacing the album art sounds good too. - It would be good to replace the QR code image as part of the build process.
