What's Mitter
Mitter is a client for Twitter. Currently, you can use it on Linux, Windows and OS X (running PyGTK) and on a console/terminal.
Current version
0.2.1 "You can call me... Joker.". This is a "brown-paper-bag" release, to fix a problem with the install procedure.
Old versions
0.2 "I'm Batman". New in this version:
- Back-end:
- We changed the way we retrieve information from the Twitter server, so the interface should not hang while updating.
- PyGTK interface:
- Systray notifications.
- Last update and next update times are now displayed in the status bar.
- Autocompletion for replies.
- Double-clicking a tweet will open that tweet in the Twitter site.
- Replies to the user are displayed in a different colour.
- Console interface:
- New in this version. Mitter will fall back to this if it can't find the necessary libraries.
