Please note that new quadrocopter development has moved to the AeroQuad! Check out the MikroQuad's bigger brother at http://AeroQuad.com!

This project will use the Arduino Diecimila as the hardware platform to control a quadrocopter. Software coding will be done in the Arduino environment. The primary goal for this quadrocopter will be to create a low cost flying vehicle which integrates gyros, accelerometers and a GPS for attitude control compatible with a 2.4GHz RC controller like the Spektrum DX7. A secondary goal would be to make this an autonomous UAV, which can fly to programmed waypoints without pilot intervention.

Please note the source code only works with Arduino 0011 for now.

Receivers tested:

  • Spektrum AR6100
  • Spektrum AR6200

Verified to with with new Arduino Duemilanove: http://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardDuemilanove

The MikroQuad Configurator Tool is now available! Read about it and download it at: http://mikroquad.com/bin/view/Main/MikroQuadDownloads
