Midnight Mars Browser is a program used to download Mars Exploration Rover (MER) images and view them in slideshow and panorama format. Version 2.0 is an Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) application.

PLEASE NOTE: This software is no longer supported. I'm keeping the program available for now as people still get some use out of it, but there will be no more updates to version 2.0's code. Panorama metadata updates, which MMB automatically downloads, continue to be posted regularly at the time of writing, but that's subject to change as well.

System Requirements

• Windows or Mac OS X
• On Windows: Java 1.4 or later (Mac OS X comes with Java installed)
• 512 megs of RAM minimum
• Large amounts of hard-drive space for storing images.
