It would be nice if we had a separate window for replies. I mean let the replies come in the main window as it is, but replies should also be visible in a different window. This would remove the need to visit twitter.com/replies every now and then. Also replies in the main window could be highlighted or something. |

True! Very much needed! But is it architecturally possible to make it real-time like summize! Personally I use http://search.twitter.com for replies but lately it has started giving lame results i.e. missing some of the tweets, so can't even rely on it anymore (I believe it happened just after Twitter bought Summize). |

This is possible. Actually, currently we have 1. twpublic -> public timeline 2. twuser -> user timeline 3. twitter.com -> friends' timeline If you add user with the named above, it'll fetch the correspond timeline. So the replies timeline is just another timeline set that we can fetch from. However, this way, you'll always get the replies periodically (duplicate with twitter.com). I don't think this'll be what you really need. How about having a control command /replies To fetch all replies?

OK, I added a user named "twuser" but it's marked as "offline". How do I enable it properly? (using Pidgin 2.5.5 with Twitgin 0.2.1) |

Same here. Pidgin 2.5.5 and twitgin 0.2.1 I'd love to see separate windows for @replies and dm's. I added a buddy twuser, but it remains offline. Has this functionality been removed? /replies does work BTW, but since I get quite a few of them, having to manually type a command all the time just doesn't cut it. |

Actually I *am* seeing some activity in the "twuser" tab, but so far it's been echoing my outgoing tweets, which wasn't quite what I was expecting. Sadly Pidgin crashed overnight, so wasn't watching when I actually got some replies. I'll keep my eyes peeled. |

Phil, you are right, I just noticed that this morning when I posted a reply to someone. After I fix some connectivity issues (ie, go to the store and buy a new AP), I'll do some tests. |

Nope, confirmed: it's recording *my* tweets, even posted via the web from work, but nothing directed *at* me. |

Maybe you could keep the "twuser" functionality, and add "twreplies" to monitor "replies & mentions"? |
