What is Meerkat?

Meerkat is an open source viewer for Second Life and OpenSim. Our goal is to create an advanced viewer that continually pushes the limits and promotes fresh thinking about virtual worlds.

Why is it named Meerkat?

Meerkats run fast. Meerkats work together in groups to benefit everyone.
