Hey Media Center Master,

Sorry I didn't see the message about where to really post these types of things until
after posting to the forum. First off, love your software. I plan on purchasing the
license very soon. I was gathering the metadata for my entire collection, and in the
options, I had selected "Rename Video File" as one of my options as that sounded like
a great idea to me. So, MCM went through and got most of my metadata. While going back
through some of the ones that weren't found, I noticed in the log an error that indicated
to me that there were multiple movie files in my folder and that this could cause problems.
Well, most of my movies are in MKV format, and they were all renamed just fine, but
some of my movies are in VIDEO_TS form because of subtitles that I still can't get
to work right in handbrake when encoding to MKV. MCM actually renamed every single
one of my VOB files to the title of the movie which in turn rendered them unplayable.
Now, luckily I have been using a backup service, and was able to see a listing of the
original VOB file names and was able to restore playback by renaming the files, but
I was thinking that it sure would be super-duper nice to have maybe a check box under
the "Rename Video File" option that would exempt VOB files from this renaming during
the meta-data fetch. I now leave the option unchecked when I am fetching for files
in VIDEO_TS form and am at least aware of the hazard, but I thought this would be a
nice addition to an already impressive program! Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,
John
