Mediabox displays flash, video, audio, & html content in a modal dialog. Based on Slimbox and the Mootools javascript library, it comes in several versions:
Mediabox Standard - companion script designed to compliment Slimbox and the Mootools 1.11 framework. Depends on several supporting scripts such as SWFobject.
Mediabox Advanced - designed to replace Slimbox and Mediabox both, it handles a wide variety of formats and an even wider range of features. Developed for Mootools 1.2, flash detection and support is entirely native.
Mediabox Shade - a unique overlay with completely customisable shadows and border styles. Boasts the features of Mediabox Advanced, and a look that's all new. Currently unreleased.

(MOV and WMV support were dropped due to inconsistent web standards and the grueling task of testing for each browser exceeded the scope of this project. A much better alternative is Flash video, either FLV or MP4 files, as Flash adoption is far more widespread amongst users)
