Introduction

This wiki tells how to use Max2Aero plugin to enable Aero effect for Maxthon2 in Windows Vista or higher.

Requirement

The version of Maxthon 2 should be above mx2.5.14

Details

First

Make sure that you have disabled Enhance Anti-Freeze mode in Advanced session of Maxthon Setup Center.(It is disabled by default.)

show the window frame(optional,strongly recommended)

Second

Download and install the plugin

If you have installed old version of max2aero, you should delete the plugin directory when maxthon2 is closed.

press the button of the plugin

Third

Download and install the skin

the Maxthon icon in the the upper left corner would be hidden next time you run Maxthon2.

whenever you changed the position of the tool bar you should press the button again

FAQ

when something awful happened, you can disable the plugin in the max2aero menu.
