What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Try to use a shield-file without a shield-face-name definition etc. 2. Nothing appears in the compiled XML file 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I want to display hiking symbols (no text most of the time) spaced out evenly, and the ShieldSymbolizer seems to be the tool for that. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Cascadenik SVN trunk |

Actually, it seems that this is depending on http://trac.mapnik.org/ticket/239 being fixed first. |
