We could make the "Read Macro File..." option append to the current macro
list instead of replacing it. Or we could have a new "Append Macro
File..." option.

My motivation is to make it easier for user's to share macro files. What
I'm imagining is a "Useful Macros" block on the wiki with a single macro
file for each useful sequence and a description of what it does. Then
users could pick and choose the various sequences they are interested in
using and combine them into one file by repeatedly appending and saving out
the final result.

Currently, I think users would have to hack the .macro files to be able to
do something like this.

I guess I should also note that it may not be worth it to do this if we
can't upload macro files to the wiki. If we have to copy the contents up
as text like we've been doing for the log files, users will be hacking
their log files somewhat anyway to share macros.

This is a good idea, but one thing to keep in mind if we start sharing macro files (I
thought about this last night) then we have to make sure we are clear what the 3
stickers you need to click are, and from what orientation and such. I'm sure we can
do this with pictures, but it will be something to keep in mind.

It really is a shame too that we can't upload text files on the wiki. I guess there
are probably security reasons for it though.

I agree that it's problematic to try to share macro files without pictures and such.
I don't mind macro sharing but I kind of like it the way it is now in that a user
needs to understand the instructions enough to at least perform the moves once before
they can use one. Therefore I guess I vote against this proposal.

Regarding uploading text files: I think that's totally possible but I have to figure
out how to do that and I'm not sure it's simple.
