Snapshot 79 binary targets 10.8 to 10.11. And it supports these script language interfaces using dynamic linking but it totally depends on the path hierarchy of shared libraries. Thus Vim executable (and MacVim.app) would work on your system, but some script language interface might not work on your system. Wait the patch vim/vim@a0f849e#diff-38d7929bd26d74d92ceddf984bbfc8dbR125.

  • Lua 5.2 (Homebrew)
  • Perl 5.16 (Yosemite system path)
  • Python2 2.7 (Yosemite system path)
  • Python3 3.5.0 (Homebrew)
  • Ruby 2.0 (Yosemite system path)
