issue 4 (on VST relocation project fail to load) reported by Da...@apollo.lv   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. place 3-rd party vst in any subdirectory that in vst paths 2. create project using that vst 3. change vst location (for example when reorganizyng vst's by functionality to another level subdirectory) 4. open project from (2) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? must be :project opens and suggest new location of vst exist: The system could not find plugin XXX.dll What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 3.01

ProblemsAndBugs (Problems with any Macaw programs) Wiki page commented on by rangsynth   -   Putting it into program files makes it very simple to control for versions. Perhaps I can make an advanced option in future. Thanks.

issue 2 (Output Latency) commented on by rangsynth   -   This issue can be solved by using ASIO. DirectX will take it low to 50MS but not much further on some machines. So for your integrated soundcard I can suggest using a program called "ASIO4ALL" which is free and will create an ASIO driver that you can use instead of DirectX. Then you might be able to get the latency even lower if thats important.

issue 3 (VST controllers) reported by robert.vertnik   -   Hy! One suggestion: When using VST plugins, there should be a command to randomize all controllers in the plugin (like Orion, FruityLoops,...). Wery useful for experimenting with sounds! rv_coder

issue 2 (Output Latency) reported by Asynchron71   -   I can`t set the output Latency lower than 50mms (Very Short). Anything below will cause a latency greater than 2 seconds. The Output Latency of 50ms gives the sound pretty straigt away so I can`t here any latency there. Hardware and OS:Vista Home Premium (32bit) on an Toshiba laptop with an Fame KC49 as USB-Midi Keyboard. Soundcard: SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio. Macaw Settings: DirectX on Primary Sound Driver. Sascha

Version3x01 (Details on the new version of Macaw.) Wiki page commented on by rangsynth   -   I have not tested it under Vista or Win7. We are currently working on a new compiler and virtual machine to run the program in. But this will take a long time from today.

Version3x01 (Details on the new version of Macaw.) Wiki page commented on by stefanoluppoli   -   First of all, thanks for your good job. And now a couple of "cosmetic" things I think that should be corrected. 1) I noticed (on my system, Win XP) that the lower part of the main window program remains covered by the windows bar. You have to unmaximize and then maximize again the window to have the progam window completely visible. (It would be a good thing that Macaw remember window size and position, on reopen) 2) The title of the dialog windows Options --> Application Options is still "Oscillastation Global Options", now i think It should be "Macaw Global Options" Does someone have tested Macaw under Vista/Win7 ?

issue 1 (Stereo Handling) reported by rangsynth   -   You will notice in the code that the plugins use a stereo channel for audio IO, but this should really be two mono channels. Quite a lot of code is wasted by using the stereo method. This should be fixed sometime but I will do it because I know it well.
